Delivery Aggregator Commission Calculator

The order said ₹500, the settlement said ₹340, and somewhere in between lives every aggregator's fee structure. This calculator walks one order through the full stack, commission, GST on that commission, your share of discounts, packaging, payment fees, and shows the true net and your real margin after food cost. Run your actual numbers once and delivery pricing stops being a mystery.

Revenue & Front Office — Delivery Aggregator Commission Calculator
In short

True net per order = order value − commission − 18% GST on the commission − restaurant-funded discount − payment/other fees. Real profit then subtracts food cost and packaging from that net.

Commission applies on the order subtotal. GST at 18% applies on the commission (a cost to you, separate from the GST on food the platform collects). Discounts funded by the restaurant and per-order fees come off before settlement.

Frequently asked questions

What commission do Zomato and Swiggy actually charge?

Contract-specific: commonly 18-25% for established restaurants, higher for new onboarding or priority visibility, lower for exclusivity deals. The commission line is also not the whole cost, GST on commission, ad spends and funded discounts routinely add 5-10 points on top.

Should my delivery menu prices be higher than dine-in?

Most operators price delivery menus 10-20% above dine-in to recover part of the commission stack, and the platforms accept this within limits. Run this calculator at your dine-in price and at a marked-up price, the margin difference is the honest basis for that decision.

When does a delivery order actually lose money?

When food cost plus packaging plus the full deduction stack exceeds the settlement, common on small orders with restaurant-funded free delivery or aggressive discounts. Setting a sensible minimum order value and capping funded discounts on low-ticket items usually fixes it.
